High-strength concrete
To meet the growing demands of construction each year, the trend toward larger and lighter civil engineering structures has led to a shift toward higher-strength concrete, a crucial element for reducing loads. This refers to concrete with a higher compressive strength than ordinary concrete. Regular concrete is defined as having a compressive strength of 18 MPa or higher, while high-strength concrete is defined as having a compressive strength of 40 MPa or higher.
